Intelligent Navigation is so called because it automatically adapts the structure or navigation menu of a mobile portal for each individual subscriber based on their mobile portal usage. It promotes frequently accessed services / content menus based on a subscriber’s behaviour to a higher position in the mobile portal. This level of personalization is achieved by using in-depth user profiles to enhance the navigation to relevant content. As demonstrated in the screenshot on the left, this particular user frequently accesses details of movies at the cinema and so this content item is automatically promoted to a higher position in the mobile portal for easier access.
