ClixSmart Menu Manager is an intuitive PC-based application providing sophisticated Colour Portal Management functionality that enables a mobile operator to rapidly develop, update and publish a colour mobile portal. ClixSmart Menu Manager streamlines the effort required to build, publish and manage multiple portals for multiple devices.

Icon Management

 

Any icon graphic can be published and displayed on the mobile portal using ClixSmart Menu Manager. ClixSmart Menu Manager can store different icons for different menus and mobile devices and publish to multiple mobile portals.

 

Multi Portal Support

ClixSmart Menu Manager supports the hosting of multiple portals. Mobile operators frequently need to offer different portals to different subscriber communities – post-paid versus prepaid, for example. Menu Manager is fully equipped to support the management of multiple portals through the following features:

  • Create and manage multiple portals and portal groups
    Menu Manager allows an operator to create and manage multiple separate portals with different access home pages. For convenience, related portals can be managed within a single portal project or through separate projects as required.

  • Multiple Remote Installations of Menu Manager
    Multiple administration copies of Menu Manager can be installed and recognized as Administration Machines by the one Navigator Server thus allowing individual team members to work on the same portal. Each user must download and synchronize with the Navigator Server before uploading any changes to the server.

Copy and Paste Feature for Multiple Portal Administration

As part of the support for Multiple Portals, it is possible for the operator to copy and paste whole sections of a portal, rather than have to define all links separately.

 

 

Multi Lingual Portal Support

ClixSmart Menu Manager enables multi-lingual portals to be built and deployed rapidly, and (when used in conjunction with ClixSmart Navigator), allows operators to configure the personalization parameters of the portal and of individual menu items. All languages are supported and it is possible to switch between languages when creating menus, content pages, and links.

 

 

Personalization Control

ClixSmart Menu Manager also allows the portal administrator to define personalization properties across the entire mobile portal or subsections of the portal and to define the sensitivity of the portal to personalization. This means the mobile operator has complete control over the speed at which personalization will take effect on a link.

 

 

 

Click Distance Analysis

The ClixSmart Menu Manager interface includes the capability of analysing the click-distance of a mobile operators static portal. It allows the mobile operator to view the number of scrolls, the number of clicks and the total click-distance for each portal option. It also provides average statistics for each of these parameters across the entire portal. Such information can be invaluable to a mobile operator when designing and maintaining the overall structure of the static portal.
