06-04-2006 Omnitel launch SurfPort portal on ClixSmart
CTIA, Las Vegas, USA - April 6th, 2006 – ChangingWorlds today announced Omnitel has launched its new SurfPort™ unified wireless internet portal on the ClixSmart Intelligent Portal Platform. SurfPort offers a wide range of compelling content including: news, sports, music, games and the latest entertainment content to Omnitel’s 1.9M subscribers in Lithuania.
ChangingWorlds’ ClixSmart platform enhances usability of the wireless internet thus increasing relevance and user satisfaction, which in turn leads to increased traffic. ClixSmart includes personalized content discovery features such as dynamic content teasers and targeted mobile campaigns which will increase user awareness of services on SurfPort and stimulate greater service take-up, leading to increased ARPU for Omnitel.
ClixSmart’s multi-portal management and ‘one-click’ publishing features minimise time-to-market and reduce portal administration overheads for Omnitel. ClixSmart’s modular and extensible architecture ensured a seamless integration with Omnitel’s existing network infrastructure and facilitated a rapid roll-out of the SurfPort portal.
