Barcelona, Spain, Tuesday February 14th, 2006 – ChangingWorlds®, the market leading provider of intelligent personalization technology, today announced that the recently launched i-mode service, exclusively from O2 in the UK, is managed using the ClixSmart™ Intelligent Portal Platform.
O2 launched the new i-mode service in October 2005. ClixSmart provides O2 with an intuitive multi-portal management solution enabling them to manage the i-mode portals via a single administration console. ClixSmart’s one-click publishing enables portal updates to be instantaneously published to the live portal, thus minimising O2’s time-to-market with new i-mode services.
ClixSmart offers full support for i-mode’s easy-to-use features such as: ‘click-to-video-call and the Java-based i-appli services. It also offers ‘dynamic menu listing’ capabilities, which provide O2’s i-mode users with easy access to the most popular i-mode services and enhances content discovery.
ClixSmart supports all variations of c-html and automatically verifies that c-html pages follow the defined i-mode page size and layout so that content providers can create exciting i-mode content with multiple colours, various font styles and colour ‘Emojii’ (handset resident pictographic icons) characters without the need to consider variations between i-mode devices. ClixSmart’s high performance rendering and delivery engine provides fast download times and optimal presentation on each i-mode handset to ensure the best possible i-mode user experience.
