CTIA, New Orleans, LA, USA, March 15th, 2005 – ChangingWorlds, the market leading provider of Intelligent Wireless Portal solutions, today announced that tele.ring, Austria’s fourth biggest telecommunications service provider, has selected ChangingWorlds’ ClixSmart as the platform for its new wireless portal.
ClixSmart was chosen as tele.ring’s preferred portal platform following the vendor selection process because its advanced features improve operational efficiencies and enhance the user experience of wireless internet, resulting in increased ARPU.
ClixSmart’s intelligent colour portal management functionality will enable tele.ring to rapidly publish new services to its new wireless portal, thereby reducing overheads and minimizing time to market with new services. With ClixSmart’s content discovery features tele.ring will be able to offer its wireless data subscribers an enhanced user experience and improved navigation on tele.ring’s portal.
tele.ring will also use ChangingWorlds’ ClixSmart device profiling capabilities, which provide automatic device recognition, content rendering and transcoding, thus optimising content presentation on the user’s handset and making it possible for subscribers to take advantage of the latest advances in handset technology.
ClixSmart’s Service Monitor will provide tele.ring with a fully automated system for measuring service quality and availability on its wireless portal content on a 24 hour basis. ClixSmart Service Monitor’s comprehensive reporting capabilities can generate a wide range of quality-of-service statistics and reports on portal services, which improve management of third party content partners.
