26-04-2007 ChangingWorlds Director wins ICT Sales Professional of the Year Award
ChangingWorlds VP of International Sales and Marketing, Vincent Ryan, was rewarded for his years of excellence and outstanding achievement in technology sales as he won the title of ICT Sales Professional of the Year at the ICT Excellence Awards ceremony which took place in the Burlington Hotel last night. Presenting the award to Vincent last night, Frank Quinn, Joint Managing Director of Mediateam, the awards organisers, said “The winner of this award has engineered ChangingWorlds very successful entry into Europe, Africa and Asia where ChangingWorlds is the number one supplier of intelligent mobile platform solutions.” The ICT Excellence Awards recognize outstanding performance in Ireland’s technology business and is now a firmly established landmark in the Information and Communications Technology calendar. Currently in its seventh year, it is Ireland's most prestigious and respected awards competition in the ICT sector.
With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry as the architect and driver of a number of highly successful international sales and delivery teams, Vincent was a very worthy winner of the ICT Sales Professional of the Year. Since joining ChangingWorlds in 2001, Vincent has been responsible for the ChangingWorlds sales teams that successfully orchestrated deals with over 40 wireless operators worldwide including Hong Kong CSL, O2, TeliaSonera, Mobistar and the Vodafone Group.
Having started his career with ICL he went on to lead the Sales and Delivery operations in Digital Ireland and Compaq Ireland and his teams were responsible for some of the largest enterprise systems integration projects in a number of European vertical markets in the 90's. Prior to joining ChangingWorlds he set up and led Ireland's largest Sun Microsystems Solutions Partner.
Vincent has demonstrated outstanding achievement and professionalism in the sales profession and has inspired his teams’ successful performance. His outstanding sales achievements within ChangingWorlds and in previous roles are testimony to his excellence as an ICT Sales Professional.
